London Conference is one of 13 Conferences within The United Church of Canada serving a broad geographical region that encompasses all of Southwestern Ontario and Algoma Region.

Our Mission

To be a people involved in Christ's ministry in the world by encouraging leadership, support, and oversight so that we may "bring good news to the poor, proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, let the oppressed go free, and proclaim the year of the Lord's favour".

The United Church of Canada is receiving donations
for flood relief and reconstruction in PakistanBaseera, Pakistan flooding
Emergency Response Fund

The United Church has already sent $65,000 from emergency relief funds and $75,000 through the Canadian Foodgrains Bank toward food, water, tents, kitchen kits, hygiene kits, mosquito nets and emergency medical care.

Delivering aid is extremely difficult because they are in mountainous, remote and hard-to-reach areas. "Patience, ongoing consultation, and careful planning and monitoring are critical requirements in responding effectively to a humanitarian crisis as complex as that currently unfolding in Pakistan," says Gary Kenny, the UCC's Emergency Response Coordinator.

Send your contribution to The United Church of Canada 3250 Bloor St. W. Suite 300, Toronto, ON M8X 2Y4. Mark it as 'Pakistan Flood Relief'. For more information or to make online donations go to www.united-church.ca/pakistan.
