WHAT: The EVENT of the year! Proposals, business of the United Church, meeting old friends, making new friends, Children at Conference, new minister Celebrations, The Book Room, gathering of YATS and YF-at-Conference delegates, table groups, worship, music, workshops and more! Plan to attend May 4 to May 6, 2012. WHEN: Friday, May 4, 2012 to Sunday, May 6 2012 WHERE: The Hellenic Community Centre, 133 Southdale Road, London, Ontario Friday, May 4 Registration opens at 8:00 am at The Hellenic Community Centre in London. The day opens with the Constitution of the Court and ends with a Celebration honouring Retirees & Jubilands ..... followed by dinner! Saturday, May 5 is an event-filled day: with ministry Candidates making their addresses, speakers speaking, exploration on the theme 'Where Are You on the Wave?', the election of next year's President of London Conference and the Celebration of Ministry Service! Somewhere during Saturday we take care of business matters as well. Sunday, May 6 closes the 88th Annual Meeting of London Conference after a powerful Sunday worship, remaining business, presentations by Children At Conference, Youth At Conference and the installation of Paul Browning as President of London Conference for 2012/2013. Provide an opportunity in your congregation for your minister & your Presbytery delegate(s) to provide a first-hand report of their experiences & observations of the annual meeting.
