On June 13, 2005, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 came into being.

This Act calls on the business and public sectors, including churches to develop, implement and enforce mandatory accessibility standards.

The first standard to come into effect is required to be implemented by all sectors by January 1, 2010. It's time to get going ....
